What We Do
About MOAA-HA
The national MOAA organization exists to preserve the benefits earned by all service members, past and present, and offers resources that can’t be found elsewhere. Most importantly, its mission is to help connect its membership with others, because MOAA believes in taking care of those who take care of us.
The MOAA-Houston Area chapter is one of the local chapters across America and provides the Houston area military community with information concerning issues and topics important to it and connects our local chapter membership with fellow members, both locally, in Texas and across the nation. Our chapter is organized as a 501(c)(19) nonprofit corporation. MOAA Houston Area also supports a number of local programs in response to military activities or in recognition of the sacrifices made by local service members. You can find additional information about our community outreach activities in the “Community Outreach.”

This law would raise the level from $400,000 to $500,000 – a necessary move to preserve the value of this program in the face inflation. Ask your lawmakers to lend their support today.
